021112: 17th Hot Air Balloon Festival
We woke up at around 3 in the morning to beat the traffic. @-) It took forever for everything to start. :)) Excuse the low quality photos, I am not a photographer and I just took these with my phone. :))
Here’s when they started inflating the balloons!
And this is how they held the Philippine National anthem. It was pretty buduss.

Please look at this cake balloon. This was the balloon my uncle Kenneth, who recently passed, was supposed to chase (by chase, I mean that the balloons are followed by corresponding 4x4 trucks, and my uncle was the one who was supposed to chase this one). It made us really happy and sad to see it, though. But hello, look. It’s a flying cake. :))
This is a car hot air balloon. It has a face. I actually had a toy exactly like this when I was little, so I was really happy to see this one. And it’s face is really nakakasabaw, okay?
I literally ran across the field just to be able to get a picture of this panda air balloon. It didn’t fly with the other balloons, though. Look at the basket, there’s not enough room for even one person. :))
I asked Kong Lito if I could try this. He said not now, and it made me sad. :(
